dan is teeing up something there what you tearing up daniel-san I've got not on m4m six and six sorry I come down the wrong way so tailor-made m6 lovely okay so we on the back yeah we've seen that wing with we've seen that on another product recently as well a family yeah m6 m6 let's test it Alma course in door numbers coming at you as well we look at the tech see what's all about this should be two shots each to start us off fairway first one this young second one okay first one looks love it yeah absolutely love it lovely carbon Matt kind of finish here a little bit of that nice lipstick round the back very narrow is that Li the same as the other one yeah same as the m5 to be honest with you they've certainly quiet and that profile down haven't they at that front rail yeah love it really really nice just have a fairway ball kick us off then Daniel son have you got fairway ball inside of you [Applause] similar sound to all intensity sounds like the other club does a Carboni feel a little bit lower see that it was a little bit lower in the in the in the face there mate is that here I don't know where he'll is yeah yeah yeah little bit Healy I reckon a slice cut a little bit done it okay you have a bumble bumble fairway on going the left hand side a little bit left let's bounce left as well there look there just struggle with that one a little bit looks wise it's as good it's the same as the other in my head yeah a little bit maybe a little bit more pear-shaped in this one not sure I'm not saying I like them look looks good yeah it doesn't look good it's really good so we're gonna go fairway ball to kick us off they're able to start I'm really expecting to see everything I saw from the other one alright sound again yes down the middle just a good shot and it felt good hit it pretty central they're all full of shapes like the aren't they when you look at them this way but looking that way I only see niceness yeah oh I'm gonna bomb this Unabomber oh you going hide roar as well I'm just gonna hit more speed through my body I'm not gonna do what you would do is just China at the fairway to get the points because I know you do that I do like points points means prizes great sound again alright yeah I'm liking that a lot right we're gonna drive up see where they've gone but before we do let's go and have a look at some of the tank what Taylor mates saying about the m6 tell you mate m6 driver so we're getting the twist face that we've seen for many years now giving you that little bit more help on those off set of hits with gearing back the targets just trying to start the ball in slightly different directions but we also get the juiced up face and we get the injected face and they're building the face now above tolerance for Co are so kind of ball speeds off the face if you like and then they're using resin in these two hulls you see the two red dots here in between my dots that brings the face then back to the legal limit and just below TaylorMade saying in theory these are going to give you the fastest ball speeds you're gonna see off any of the TaylorMade products prior we get carbon sole and then we also get this funny little shape on the back it's here for aerodynamics and also they're able to just drag loads of weight back and down in this face when this head to try and increase mo eye on this cup big percentage of the weight back in this low part of this funny little design at the back kind of quite asleep looking we also get hammerhead 2.0 the slot if you like on the bottom in conjunction with twist face increase seeing the sweet spot i think the website says not trying to do that but definitely china keep those ball speeds are higher on different parts of that face we also get the changeable neck that we've seen for years from TaylorMade fantastic for dialing in laughs lie shapes of shots you want to look all shapes flights and spin rates a great thing tool again similar tack to the other one isn't it really down apart from the aerodynamic wing and lower center of gravity on the back yeah and just obviously can't dial in on this one as much as what you can with the other way I haven't got the rails and involved there but yeah very very similar so first one we both hit fairway but both hit fairway but you've beaten me by comfortably twenty yards this is you miss hit yours and I hope I'm pretty nice and then the long ones none of us have it fairway so I don't know what that means you can decide because might hit the tree I reckon I hit my nuts just you got draw it up here and I just didn't start it right enough yeah I caught that tree to drop down in will ever think about the score when we get on the next team so similar tech we get a little bit of aerodynamics lower back CG is all interesting isn't it so yeah I mean it's this this is what they want everyone to talk about you still got that pinprick in there everything yeah the thing that we can't measure I want to get out there now wanna get it all ya gotta find a wrench that's gonna get me in there in theory we should be seeing more ball speed with this club all the other clubs that we test are built to a similar tolerance basically is what they're saying they're saying that there's a to max they're not referencing particularly others right so if that gets the same if that's a 262 club that everyone else is building their clubs to a pretty good tolerance if this is built to really good tolerance that's an why so my brain goes around it so we're saying that they're going beyond the legal limits each club is uniquely injected to get it to the limit so they've built beyond right and then inject to slow down so some people onto it was quite interesting saying they call it speed foam but it has to slowing the face down so what they injecting in the feet though slow down speed phone okay not slow gel speed foam slow gel people get upset by can we just go to 30 fairways the points are in fairways here so you got to hit two balls in the fairway well you don't have to rekt you get a point for a fairway hit yeah but if we hit so if we hit what's the score after that now then oh yeah I know you choose one or do you want the let's go one all yeah I mean the longest drive didn't really none of us hit the fairway no but it was that the rule I don't know I'll go ill one or yeah one flower let's go so if we both hit the fairway yeah it's then defaults the longer yeah but the fairway is the point what we need to hit fairway yeah because we're playing golf we're testing these for gaming golf yeah we've got a hit fairway so that's rule number one and then it's just the longest distance just slightly yeah yeah can't tell the strike with that face that come you know hear that right where was it I think that was toe a was it let it go let just kind of turn over on me start it pretty straight and then just turned over towards that bunker down there but you got to his face like that said why didn't it didn't stay that and come back did come back too much overturn Dartmouth right I know need more twists so that hit fairway or not it forgot lucky hit so it's a better one that's definitely that got to stay left that's Healey and that's it that's it fair is a good shot just drifted on that did ya just drifted into the middle that's good yeah right so the first one you just need to hit the fairway [Applause] it's either hit the tree and come back onto the fairway oh it's what are they're missing one of those essentials and say you hit the tree clouds out difference in looks which I like had one on the look the same yeah from the top end can't tell difference at the moment sound which I want I'll show you the indoor numbers soon oh I've gone way left without see that yeah left left that's started left and then hook where did that feel like it went off the face Ralph and toe no there wasn't oh it's all he'll eat immediately well I wasn't expecting that that was me that end so you might have hit a tree and come out you know I might be on the other foot have you close to the other fairy then it will our fairway I'm coming back just trying to hitting fairway yeah we might I run last close that's on the left side that was at OE one that worked quite nicely literally don't know what happened is this that's right so how does that work yeah don't get down there never look look I still I like the sound still I'd want to hit more that first shot wouldn't make me not buy or try this just like you know it's winter Gulf I am really played for two months I'm gonna eat field freak you hurt you know I'm not the biggest anime fan in the world must be said but that was me blaming them for my crap dad's looking for my first but it wasn't a very good shot it's it's left it would have been hit these trees all gone through here I'm happy for that one to be a bit of a goner now going forwards I have not hit that fairway Dan is not hit first fairway one is they're both scrubbed up they so we do scrub the first yeah match bit your second one has done brilliant really well down there when mine was toe in the wind save did not going in the bunker to be honest wine would have been in that bunker if it wasn't wind off the left so you've won one up because I have missed that fairway and even if I had hit this fairway Danny's a good 30 yards down there with that one you said you didn't need that one that well made it felt a bit Healy I think it's run a little bit know about that I think I think a little bit sound is making it hard for you to feel where you've actually possibly yeah where you ripped if not further the other one pretty similar to where that big one I hit with that m5 early yeah I reckon mean I want to look at these numbers I want to see how fast my twisted injected face has m6 time Daniel Sun and all those Shing endure let's see what we get out this back we try to get some numbers from you this c-max our twisted face injection does healy to me these club seems to do warehouse that has out of the heel and they often I find they struggle a bit out of my preferred hit which is the Tobin it's just a high toe it like that one seven millimeters toe 11 million meters high two more out the toe and a little less high part two millimeter it's quite central but high I must feel like as well it doesn't like it too high on the face it won't sit lower than I'm used to hitting my almost my two best shots or ones that you said you dick out that I caught all Hylian lower yet and what I would expect to be it definitely wants to be hit what I would call more out the hill where I'm naturally trying to find a height oh and I can't work out why that is it's using yeah so if we look at the numbers you'll to 60 average carry on two five eight I had a two six seven in their normal last you have a two six eight so you could take my two four four out I'm two six three now you've got all three take your lowest hit out just for the fun of it as well your two six to say I'm spinning at two thousand you'll spring at two eight we have the same with the other model I 150 150 for ball speed launching at 13 and 14 degrees collectively it just does not like my toe shot so I have to take out my two two millimeter high toes actually it doesn't like high and to tell you saying that 70 millimeter toe well look at that ten millimeter heel on the last shot six millimeters her high heel on the last shot and that's your bumble and that is my two six seven numbers are good again no faster than anything else I've really tested for many of the manufactures really but up there with all of them I don't like the way the middle of the club stroke appearing wait and I'm not saying that is the weight but the appearing weight doesn't line up at all with any of the graphics on the face and then it would annoy me I would struggle with those strikes here ones going further than toe ones even when I hit and they feel healy and not what I want I'm not sure I'd want to adjust everything I feel in a club and have done for years yeah for that but it's beautiful I have to agree with everything you're saying there I think aesthetically again very similar to the m5 that we've tested before it just looks fantastic down at the ball at carbon crown nice a little bit of lipstick around the back just that frame at the front with that nicely quiet rail but the confusion for me is when I hit it what I feel is a post rike I look at heel based for me because I'm again I'm always tracking more Towey if I can get it yeah if I get it in that sort of lower heel position I look up and it's producing the best results that's hard for me I never get that carry there a 2 6 7 from a 10 millimeter heel structure shop that's just definitely going to try it let me think both of them this one and the m5 both good numbers of binds there but I think there's a lot of haha about anything never got one let me know if you have the same issues with the lineup lines as well I'll do more on that because it is definitely a little bit skew if and I wonder if it bothers anyone else in that comment section down there as always thanks for watching [Music]

hi welcome it's Mike Newton down here at little Golf Academy got a new product to review and it's the new tailor-made m6 driver so loads of height with tailor-made as ever when they launch new product everybody knows about it they shout it from the roof roof tops and some obviously some very different technology going into it which is a little bit different from what we've seen from other manufacturers so we're going to go through that technology today in this video a little bit about all the technologies in the driver and also back it up with some numbers off gc2 HMT and obviously as always my personal thoughts on the looks and the feel and the way it performs okay so we've got injected twists face technology so many of you already know what's happening with tail made drivers with these two screws that we see in the face and this injection so basically just as something so quickly is every driver that the TaylorMade are making as it comes off the production line is exceeding the COR limit so basically every driver that comes off program is illegal we then measure it and see how illegal it is and then the insert resin into the heel and toe ports just behind the clubface the certain amount to get that face back to bang on that legal limit and that's the way there so basically every driver that it's produced is what they will call a spicy driver or a hot driver in terms of the ball speed across that clubface it is interesting it is very very different to what we've seen before a little bit all hate it you know let's see if it actually sort of works first instincts for me look wise it's stunning i think again turn made i've always been a fan of termina products in terms of how they look but this matte carbon black finish on the top I think he's just beautiful in terms of you know against maybe the m4 which was a polished version there's still a lot of strip at the top it's now a little bit narrow which again I like well I like the fact it's still there but I like that blend between that and that matte black finish so sits lovely this is a nine degree got it set at nine degree I've got it in a hazardous black six point five solo shaft option which tends to suit me let's get the first one hit okay and that's a lovely sound to it very positive crack to that nice-looking ball flight so there isn't quite a bit of all the technology in here the carbon is increased on the club on the top of the club head here so we've got 54% more carbon than the m4 which is 54% Sall off so obviously they're saving a lot of weight there and obviously Reed distributing that all the in other place in the club head to make it more forgiving okay so quite a nice opening tee shot they're not spun around that sort of two and a half thousand mark so all the technology that was seeing in the m6 obviously twists face is staying off so that's introduced last year that they're real big talking point out of the face sawed twisting out toe section out heel section to try and reduce that sort of gear effects that's staying in there I've so got the objective twist face we've got hammerhead technology in the in the sexy bottoms you know just behind the clubface here which I haven't had a 2.0 so slightly increased hammerhead section again for trying to keep ball speed up for those slight miss hits and possibly a little bit low in the face miss hits okay it doesn't look great behind the ball sits lovely I did expect gets the next one here yeah great spell for flight that looks pretty long that looks pretty low spin as well hello Yosef Oh 319 so good number there and spawn at 1,800 so good low spin characteristics there which I like and that we know when I get into those sort of 18 unjust mm marks I pick up that maybe that extra 15 yards and that total distance okay that felt great a little bit heel side on that be interested see what that does to the numbers I'll tell you what that's still a good hit for a slight heel strike 308 we just see one spin must be a little bit low there so - 299 so just under 2,300 spin with a heel strike that's good because I was at Sue's I felt that heel strike I expect that ball to spin up and peel off to that right hand side it hasn't done that so you could have an argument there that twist face without heel section pulled down pointing more left hasn't actually added that gear effect and with less loft there's actually can't help to control that spin burr interesting one really cuz I would have definitely put money on that was going to spin up a little bit and move off to the right with a gear effect so there's no adjustability in the m6 in terms of weights in the bottom of the m5 takes care of the adjustable weight sections I've done a review of that I'll put a little link and you can go and check that video out but in the m6 it's a little bit more geared around forgiveness so what they've got here is this middle section at the back you can see it's like a little lip down in a way which is basically storing more weight it's a little screw nut back section there so what they've saved or they've added more 54 percent more carbon to the crown so they made a big saving of weight and they're made saving of 46 grams which is huge sometimes you hear savings of sort of 8 to 10 grams maybe but 46 absolutely massive so the place in that extra weight in this back section so it's low and back on that weight position in which we know increases the mo I and that forgiveness of the club and that probably at last hit there have been a little bit he'll definitely showed that quite impressed with that ball fight they're considered the greatest of strikes okay that's a tiny bit low in the face that must spin up see it's just peeled off to write that have just squeezed that there's me drop offs of 278 and that's born 3100 year that's that low in the face drag that I tend to struggle with and I've just absolutely squeezed that off the club face I've lost that a little bit well quite a bit to the right there okay so let's try and improve on that last one that was a pretty awful shot for me obviously more me than the actual club that's trying to put a better swing on this one okay that was better decent contact can just push it a little bit of that round side to be honest that felt pretty good strike was good it's a 308 just get in that direction a little bit about right hand side I'm at support at 2100 so again good spin number there but we know strike that previous one low in the face just throws up spin way up in the air but that was quite a severe lower the face drag so you can have as much technology as you want but if you strike it as low as that it's always going to pack it with that spin okay let's look at some numbers on those five shots with the m6 drivers the club at speed around that 115 mark which is typically my sort of speed ball speed just under that 163 so it's a decent ball speed that I've had faster the first one was a good one at 165 point 7 but the others won 6-3 or 61 62 so you know it's not there it's not as fast as anything else on the market it's as good as in a way launching at 11.6 and spinning at 2 3 7 a table average bear in mind that fourth shot hit was a real low and that split up at three ones that's brought me average ease up a little bit so probably taking it out I'll probably drop around two one mark which is a good number so for a club that that way put very low and back it's producing a really good sort of spin number their peak at 32 yards descending at 37 degrees which is good numbers and averaging carry 279 run-out 304 and again that 277 just pull rich down there right guys so there we go there's m6 Drive from TaylorMade loads a technology as you'd expect what I didn't mention those officers still got the original just a bull sleeve nextly there so it's got all that dialing in to do with that loft angles there we've got a nine degree head is a 10 and a half and there's a 12 degree head within the m6 which you can obviously dial in up and down by about two degrees in case so obviously that will affect face angle and everything like that which I might do a separate video of just what it does when you change that settings I think a lot of golf's out that get confused when the change in it lower they think it decreases a lot it does the opposite but then it was a sacrifice of face angle so I probably do a separate video on there just to help you guys to understand which set in alters the face by whatever degrees and loft by one degrees so yeah loads of technology officer the big talking points this injected speed twist face again the numbers the ball speeds good you can't deny that the ball speeds a good is as good as anything else on the market no it's not is it it is as good as anything out there now and there's a lot of great drivers coming out for me 2019 the choice and the quality is great yes we've seen these prices creep up there's a couple of brands maybe just holding the price there but I'd say what you've you guys going out to try a dry B's you've got a fantastic choice it can be confusing so you may need to go and maybe go to a place that's maybe got a lot of options we have here a little golf cutter we look at that way so we've got all into one roof you can test it all together see what works for you and then we take you from El Cid get fitted for it is always my story for you guys like I said what's watching do comment down below let me know he thought arm injected twists a so I'm all these comments are gonna come roll and then with ejected twister face comments but I was as always I'd love to hear your thoughts as a consumer as a golfer and maybe your thoughts on m6 product against maybe the m5 also might be separate video there for me to do for you guys and if you haven't subscribed and you're consuming do so just hit that button get that like button smash share the video around and hopefully it will catch up you all very soon

right okay once again Happy New Year thank you for joining the average golfer in a week that is full of tailor-made testing lots of prompt being a relief right now I'm going through right through the m5 and m6 rains it's been introduced first of February of 2019 I'm now on to the m6 driver let's have a look at that from from this side to start with a bit of a close-up on that I thought some movies you do Bastian there you can give me some opinions in the comments below on what you think in terms of looks when do this review just a little bit different we're going to talk inside here about how this thing looks maybe saw through the tech spec from TaylorMade and then we're going to get out on the course and also collect some dry ball data and then back into it to discuss the findings from this whole review so let's start off with a text back in terms of what our tailor made packing into this 2019 driver it is all about speed injection and they're injecting the clubface with these two red screws that we've seen that little bit of error snip it from not so very long ago how are they doing that well basically each driver head will be individually tested they're gonna try and get each driver head to as close to the legal limits of cor as they possibly can and to do that they feel like they need to test every club individually across a number of places across the clubface and where required they're injecting a resin that is going to go and support certain areas to ensure you're getting the fastest possible spall speeds from right across that clubface so in really the biggest sweet spot that they've ever produced from a driver the other thing that's different we've still got by the way twist face is staying clearly it's been a winner in terms of from tailor-mades perspective so twists face technology is staying it's going nowhere it's in the to drivers is in the fairways and it's also in a hybrid which we'll get to very very shortly other thing they've introduced here and I'll have a close-up little image for you of the bottom of the m6 and where they've introduced some extra weight and mass at the back of this clubface so it's a carbon sole with what they call in generator and basically that's slot at the very back their foot stores 46 gram of weight and obviously it's very low and it's very far back and it's therefore enhance CG and maximum forgiveness it's also got that hammerhead technology we've seen before and that along with the sort of speed injection as they call into this clubface it's gonna produce their most forgiving driver their fastest driver we're gonna get some amazing results it sounds like and there's only one way to find that out and that's to get out on the course but let's start off and get over to for golf Chester and start to do some testing this product yes so it's into for golf Chester for the first part of this test and what this is going to be as my first reaction to hit in this golf ball or hitting this golf club rather what I think it looks like at address and then gonna hit some golf balls and I'm gonna give you my immediate thoughts and that's without the confusion of any dates are back this or I'll record some data later on and we'll go through that at the end of this video but for the time being this is all about first impressions and I have to say that looking from the top of the club and we touched on it briefly in the intro this crown this sort of muted matte finish if you like it's almost got the checkered flag like a Formula One imprint this carbon imprint looks like now is I think really nice on the eye one big thing TaylorMade have done and whether you liked it or not this will this will be a big sway on this club is that thick top band that on the face itself or up on the crown directly behind the ball we had this white in the m1 m2 band strip it went to silver in m3 m4 it's still that silver color but it's been reduced down significantly that's a big noticeable difference and address but it frames a ball really well I love the weights as slider cut away at the toe end of this club as well and it's it's like I said really nice at address next thing we've got to look at is twist face do you see any of it and I mentioned this in last year's video no you don't you cannot see anything other than as what looks like a square clubface so there's no we ain't seeing that that the differences in there must be minimal because you don't see it as a golfer bless it some golf balls it's a high launching ball don't forget so we've got this club set up just a quick reminder then it's nine degrees I'm using this at Moss stitch shaft in this club first ball has gone off very well indeed I mean it's on balls first and I'll give you my my thoughts as this is currently set up in evening this nine degree loft it's incredibly high launching it is going a long long carry but there's a little bit of downwind and the numbers will confirm how long and how far this is traveling the interesting thing is two balls very very straight always been the same in terms of twists face is how do you how do you spend the time someone's going to spend the time in sort of tryna work out does that work or not and it'll need a better man than me to prove that or not but first two ball and third that's the best ball out a lot that's come from miles very impressive a couple of things to note different sound from previous models at a slightly more muted sound there ain't no sort of gunshot going off the immediate feel out the clubface is speed is power it's firing out there this is wise I have no idea what this thing is doing and that's what I'll get backed up with some dry ball data at the end of all this so from here the obvious thing is to take this out there on the golf course or C on the golf course I want some more straight up the thing [Music] so if you drives in with the m6 and I have to say again without the adjustability that comes with the m5 the current setup for me right now I mean it's pretty much more than happy with its weak ionosphere I've always found that with the adjustability I end up in a pretty neutral position anyway so for me the can of the neutral position that set up in this m6 is pretty damn good both light is high I think it certainly aimed at people perhaps struggle in terms of launch off the tee it's certainly firing a ball high up there it's not overly windy today but maybe in some windy conditions out there on our links then maybe the ball face is a little bit too high that'd be something to consider in terms of performance a lot of these tailor-made clubs have got a totally different sound and feel for me and it's a lot softer it's not quiet it's a lot more muted and again that's something that I really like not necessarily appeal to everybody but it's not that sort of gun shot going off but once again you know it's very difficult to pick fault with this Golf Club I let a few more shots out there on the range and then return into the warmth and we'll do a summary on this club [Music] [Music] I've been on the course we've got the drive all data everything we need to know so far about the m6 driver and I say so far I said it with the m5 we're going to do further testing on this club and get a better idea of whether or not a twist face it's got some that workings is you're actually working and again this injected resin in terms of ball speeds across the clubface and have a closer look and see if we can identify if that is the case but for what we've got so far out there on the course really like this club out there on the course I think it's the real environments it's it's different acoustics in terms of sound and feel and for me really loved the sound and feel all of the performance once again for the loss that this was set up I can't believe the launch these balls at the moment and there's a couple more drivers that I'm going to be testing in the next day or two the ball fight on these things at the moment since herbs are launched are absolutely flying out there perhaps even like you said a little bit too high for me perhaps need just dropping down a little bit and that would again be by spending more time in terms of a perhaps even the shaft in this and also taking this down a little bit in terms of this nine degrees worth a loft so back to the looks as folks first of all as well I'll give you my opinion on the locks I want to prefer the locks off the m6 and the m5 let's start off with the m6 as folks first of all I like the looks I love the looks of the m6 much more toned down I love this weight system that is in the back the way just that the whole sheep and of this back end of this call I really like it's it's really nice behind the ball and like you said for shelf appeal for me I'm much more be drawn to the m6 no would be to the m5 I like to clean a lock at doubling the adjustability and not some bolts the often see in the adjustable drivers so the m6 real thumbs up in terms of locks likes its sound and feel it's good performance was good out there drive all data up on screen for you now for those of you people who like this once again you'll see carry number on average 246 but there's one out there 2:59 which was in terms of the two drivers m6 and five that was the longest carrying that's a considerable carry distance for me as well with a spin on it or one and a half thousand the spin number is incredibly low high large incredibly low spin again and I set this on them m5 those things have probably want tweaking either way on both of those numbers if you could and I think that's what I would do if I had more time certainly look at the shaft in this with this head type and try and change those numbers a little bit to optimize performance once again the number in and around the sort of 240 to 250 carry is where I am at there's no difference in terms of yardage gained there from any other drivers that I've used out there on the course I hit it really well I found it sort of this word easy to use is an odd one because but I just felt this up for a nice smooth swing on it there's plenty of ball speed off the face and plenty of performance in terms of carry distance because the ball speeds they're averaging it just 140 ball speed is lower than what I've achieved with other clubs but again that carry distance at 2:46 incredible carry distance so all these things put together the club has performed exceptionally well and like I said out there on the course I found it and it's the wrong term to use easy to use as a stupid term I know but that's the only one that comes to my head nice easy swing get that ball somewhere around that clubface and it seemed to travel and and do pretty well I'm gonna once again I'll make the same statements as before have I seen any noticeable difference in performance from m3 and m4 at this stage absolutely none whatsoever now I have to be honest and say that however I will be doing the relevant head-to-head videos going forward and we'll try and pay closer attention to the differences between the two and see if we can identify the claims that TaylorMade have made in terms of the enhanced performance in the face in particular of the the m6 and the m5 but that's all for a later date anyway as ever thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed that try to give you as balanced of you as poss as ever so comments down below and let's have your thoughts on this one
