Best for 2019
Ultimate Mid Range
1. Clicgear Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart -BEST FOR 2019
Our Honest Star Rating
Our top pick for the Best Golf Push Carts is the Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart from Clicgear.
It's no surprise that our top picks are Clicgear - they are one of the Top Push Cart brands.
The Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart, like the Bag Boy Quad XL Golf Cart, features a handbrake feature which we absolutely love - it's sooo good!
The luxury of not having to move an inch to lock the push cart, quite honestlymakes this cart very, very appealing to us.
On top of this, the Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart, boasts a strong, heavy-duty construction and yet, a lightweight framework which is ready to take on some load without causing you to break a sweat.
Just what we like to hear right?....
This 3-wheeler folds in literally a second, and it also makes all your storage and travel dilemmas a thing of the past.
No more dreaded thoughts of "where the hell am I gona put this old thing now"...
*cue you throwing it in your garage*
On top of this, you get a perfectly sized cup holder, scorecard storage....
....and an umbrella mount (no more stuffing your umbrella in a golf club hole...it's ok, we've all been there...and then you can't get the umbrella back out!).
One thing the Clicgear Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart prides itself on is the accessorizing factor. You get 4 additional tabs to accessorize and personalize your push cart to your liking.
Add a seat (you said what?!), yes a seat, or cooler bag, and you probably have yourself the Best Golf Push Cart out there!
While we personally love this product, it appears that others do too:
"I bought the Clicgear 3.5 after my Sun Mountain's leg broke off. In all fairness the Sun Mountain was over 10 years old and had served it's purpose. The Clicgear caught my attention because it just looked very sturdy. I could not find a cart with the wire wheels that my Sun Mountain had and was concerned about the plastic wheels that so many carts are now using.
The Clicgear did have multiple spokes which I hope provide the strength I am looking for. If there is one negative with the Clicgear it has to be with the cup holder. The one that comes with the cart is so small it is worthless. I had to order the extra large cup holder to compensate."

2. Bag Boy Quad XL Golf Cart: ULTIMATE MID RANGE
Our Honest Star Rating
For our 2nd pick, we have one of Bag Boy’s best creations.
One of their high-end and fancy carts: the Quad XL Golf Cart.
If you have the budget then this is an amazing cart which will last you for many years out on the course.
As you can guess from the name already, the Quad XL Golf Cart is a 4-wheeler golf push cart, right off the bat you know this means this cart is a breeze to push around the course with it's low centre of gravity.
You can store either cart bags or stand bag on this push cart thanks to its smart design which holds them securely in place with the adjustable support arms.
As for the wheel, the front wheels are 9.5 inches and the rear ones are 11.5 inches, giving you a smoother, faster and more controllable cart (especially up and down those rises on the fairwary).
Importantly, it's lightweight and folds easily with a simple 2-step operation.
Apart from all this, the console offers you scorecard holder, golf ball and Smartphone holder, oversized storage bag and more.
Listen to this....
The one thing that really appealed to us....something we probably don’t see as often as we'd like....
The brake for the Quad XL Golf Cart is handle mounted.
This means you can lock the cart in place right from the handle, without having to move an inch! Easy riding!
This bag is one of the finest on the market, it looks good, drives good and feels good.
For the price you'll be smiling from ear to ear the first time you take this mean machine out on course.
That's an honest golfers promise!
While we personally love this product, it appears that others do too:
"I've been using this now for a few rounds and I love it. Very stable and easy to push, fold up and unfold. Love the cell phone/GPS holder. Also like the larger size of the storage compartment and the storage bag under it. Overall really an improved pull cart over anything I've ever used before."

If this wasn't enough, the Model 8 Golf Push Cart is easier to fold than most other carts since it uses a patented V-slide feature.

5. Spin it Golf Products Easy Drive Golf Push Cart
Our Honest Star Rating
As we are move on, we picked the Easy Drive Golf Push Cart from Spin It Golf Products as our 5th pick for one of the Best Golf Push Carts.
The Easy Drive Golf Push Cart is one of the best-selling push carts in the online market space.
And it has all the reasons to be.
First off, this cart has a strong aluminum frame that promises to take on a golf bag of a decent weight and serve you loyally for years to come.
Second, and probably the prime feature on this cart, is its folding mechanism, which is a little too good to be true. It's as smooth as you can imagine. It practically folds itself!
There isn't any pushing and pulling to fold this cart; with just one push of a button, the whole things folds right in front of your eyes!
Furthermore, the tires are great, they come with foot brakes, and you get to enjoy its scorecard holder, storage compartments, drink holder and an umbrella holder.
The feature that we personally liked the most, is that the front wheel of the cart is swiveled along with the other 2.
This makes the Easy Drive Golf Push Cart very independent and probably the easiest to push out of the WHOLE of our collection here.
We found it to be such a surprisingly good cart we did a full review on it here...

6th on our list of the Best Golf Push Carts is a deviation from our former 3-wheelers.

It’s front 2 wheels can be adjusted and expanded from 11.5 inches to 12.5 inches to accommodate more or larger bag without risking the stability of the cart.
This cart might not be the best cart in the world, but hey, I'm not the best golfer in the world, look, for the price, you won't go far wrong with this super reliable and fairly priced cart.

This push cart is a 3-wheeler and is made to do some heavy-duty service.

Your Golf Push Carts Buying Guide
Knowing all you need to know about the products is not always enough.
We want to go deep and think about the things that you should know while buying your next cart.
Well this is what this section is all about.
Let’s take a look at some important criteria for you to take note of while buying.
Wheels make the world go round; well, this is definitely true, at least for the push carts, so it's pretty crucial they work well on the course.
First off, almost 99.99% of wheels used in push carts are airless since puncturing them is always a probability, and second, all of them also have brakes on them for parking and locking the cart in a place.
No run away golf carts here.
However, there are a couple of things you may want to look out for.
Anti-skid wheels use a textured pattern on the external body of the wheels to establish strong grip and hold onto the surface they are on.
This is especially useful in wet conditions, you know that moment when you see your golf cart slowly sliding away from you!
Textured, pattern wheels will stop that for you....
Wider, larger wheels are never a bad choice since golf push carts need to be able to roll on rugged terrain.
Getting larger wheels, especially the rear ones, also means that you will cover more distance with little effort.
We love it when you spend less effort pushing and more effort hitting great shots!
How Many Wheels?
Golf push carts come in 3 and 4-wheelers.
So, which one do you choose?
Well, each of the 2 kinds bring along with them their own advantages and disadvantages. Here’s a quick assessment:
These type of push carts have, well....
duh, duh, duhhhh....
And what makes them so appealing is maneuverability.
3-wheelers have an almost pointed, an almost “V” shape to it which make pushing it easier and smoother.
The fact that it has 1 wheel on the front also means the taking turns will be much more simple and effortless.
Keep in mind however, the not every front wheel on push carts may swivel. Get a push cart where the front wheels swivels. This makes pushing, taking turns and making cuts almost buttery smooth!
Disadvantage: On the other hand, 3-wheelers can often become top-heavy or side-heavy if the cart is packed to the max. This compromises with stability and makes the cart vulnerable to toppling over.
This type of push carts are preferred for the exact reason why the 3-wheeler is rejected: stability.
4-wheeler have 2 wheels on the front and 2 on the back (no rocket science there) which makes sure that the weight of the baggage, equipment, etc, is distributed evenly.
This therefore, makes the cart bottom-heavy and hence, more stable.
Disadvantage: 4-wheelers are terribly difficult to manoeuvre. Not that it’s over the top difficult, it’s just not as easy and effortless as you’d find on a 3-wheeler push cart. Making turns requires a little more effort since both the front wheels need to sync.
If you're not using the golf course’s private push carts, then you’ll obviously need your own. And as much as you will enjoy using one, carrying it to and from the course and your home can be challenge.
Thankfully, most golf push cart manufacturers understand this, and therefore, almost all push carts offer a form or other of folding operation that let’s you “break” the cart.
Now, chances are that you will come across 1-step, 2-step, 3-step folding operations, but you could find push carts that fold with the push of a button as well.
Make sure your cart, when folded, is compact enough let you store it as well. Some carts will even go as far as let you detach its wheels to make the process easier.
Finally, make sure the weight of the cart is something you will not have trouble using. Most people look for lightweight carts, but we recommend to personally test a cart or two to find out the perfect weight that your hands won’t mind!
Handle And User Comfort
We cannot stress enough on how important the handle is if you want to enjoy using a push cart.
Often times, handles on push carts are fixed and non-flexible which turns pushing even a light cart forward into a Herculean challenge.
Seeing a grown person struggling and wrestling with a push cart will really make you think about smarter ways to HANDLE this issue.
First, look for handles that can be adjusted to various heights. This will make sure that the height and hand-level of the person pushing the cart is harmoniously complementary to the handle of the cart.
Second, while it is not an essential point but no harm learning; look for handles that can be turned at several angles. Why? Because a stiff, fixated handle can mess with your wrists if you are carrying a heavy cart.
Third, most brakes are on the wheels which you have to manually set to stop the cart. However, the smartest and Best Golf Push Carts offer to let you control the brakes right from the handle so you don’t have to move your lazy self at all.
Well, if you are going to buy a push cart for your golfing, then it should be able carry all your essentials, of course!
There’s nothing much to say about it since you probably already know. Look for large, spacious storage compartments, etc and etc.
One thing however, that you could specifically look out for are waterproof compartments. You never know when a little drizzle could damage you scorecards, pencils, etc.
Lockable storage compartments are also cool, but nothing you can’t do without honestly.
Finally, look for straps or support that keep you bag in place. Adjustable ones are even better!
Console is the very heart of any golf push cart. It holds mounts and slots for the numerous golfing essentials like beverage holder, umbrella holder, golf ball holder, and so on.
However, if you want to enjoy the best of a push cart, look out for the “unwritten” essentials like the Smartphone holder.
But, do you know what would make things even better? If you could create your own cart that caters personally to your requirements. Look for cart that allows you to accessorize and add attachments to it.
Being able to add a seat, a cooler bag, and similar accessories is a treat when you are out golfing in the middle of a remote course on a sunny day.
What Are The Benefits of Buying a Golf Push Cart?
Stating the obvious, we know, but it is what it is.
Playing golf is not as luxury and premium as you’d think when you realize the number of stuff, large and heavy, that you need to carry around with you at all times.
The gigantic golf bags, heavy golf sticks, scorecard, etc are just the start. You also have you carry other essentials for a hot day like you umbrella, beverages, and so on.
And you also have the small, tiny things like scorecards, pens, etc which could easily get lost if they aren’t stored properly.
Needless to say, the load and baggage gets heavy, and that’s where your push cart comes to the rescue.
Just throw all your stuff on the storage and you are good to go.
2. Rest And Refresh
Golf courses are obviously vast, and since you don’t have drinks bar or sitting arrangements every scattered too often, it can get tiresome very fast.
On a warm, sunny day, playing for just a few minutes in a row is enough to wear you out. The constant sweating paired with walking dehydrates you to a prune. It is thus not uncommon to experience joint pains, thirstiness, and dizziness. Having a golf push cart with you means an immediate access to cold beverages, a seat, an umbrella over your head and so on.
3. Health And Fitness
These may come as a surprise to you, but pushing golf carts are a very popular and effective way to up your fitness game. Betterhealth tells us a lot about the health benefits of playing golf!
In fact, many people will push carts on golf courses for the sake of exercise only; not for golfing! Pushing the cart works you muscles, especially your biceps and your calves to strengthen them. And the more heavier cart you push, the better the results.
Pushing golf carts are also an excellent way to burn off stubborn calories. Furthermore, pushing carts have also been proven to help with back pains. It acts just like a gym equipment if you will.
It is a great way to stay healthy and fit without having to lift a single dumbbell. It’s fun, fast and effective. A little unconventional, but we are not complaining!

What is a golf push cart?
A golf push cart is pretty self explanatory - it's a cart which can be pushed (or pulled) and carries your clubs and accessories. They typically will have 2 or 3 wheels (depending if it's a push or pull cart) and allows golfers without a caddie the freedom to play without having to carry a heavy club bag.
Which is better push or pull golf cart?
Both have their purpose. But before we let you decide which is best, we should let you know about the differences. Obviously a push cart can be pushed and a pull cart can be pulled, but the main difference is the number of wheels. Traditionally pull carts have 2 wheels and push carts have 3 (but there are some 4 wheel options on the market too). Our personal preference is a push cart as we find it easier and less work, however both take away the stress of worrying about heavy bags).
Which is better 3 or 4 wheel golf push cart?
For a long time, there were only 3 wheel carts on the market. However, these days there are plenty of 4 wheels carts (some made our top picks above). There isn't many differences to be honest, aside from stability and smoothness (i.e how easy it is to push). 4 wheel carts are better on unstable ground and due to an extra wheel, typically tend to be easier to push. So if we had to pick - it would be 4 wheel every time.
How do you fold a golf push cart?
Folding and unfolding your golf push cart is easy. While each model is slightly different - they all follow a similar pattern. There is usually a lever to pull which releases a catch and allows the cart to fold in on itself - kind of like a baby stroller. If in doubt then always refer to the manufacture instructions or there are plenty of videos on YoutTube.
Should you push or pull a cart?
Either works - but one is easier than the other. Back in the day, there were only pull carts, and these typically had 2 wheels. Today there are plenty of 3 and 4 wheel push cart alternatives. In our opinion pushing a cart is easier than pulling, but it all comes down to personal preference.

well happy Saturday morning to everyone I am ready to get my Saturday day off on today and beautiful Florida hopefully we'll be blessed with a nice day today so I wanted to get started on my top 5 golf push cards from Christy's blogs calm I hope you guys enjoy this video this is basically my personal list of the top 5 golf push carts based on their reviews that I've read the consumer feedback how many people have bought each one and we're pleased with it and so on and so forth okay so basically I focused specifically on golf push carts based upon the fact that they are conveniently small they're compact means the same thing but they're they're easy to travel with they're lightweight so let's go ahead and drive right in shall we you see how I did that mm-hmm all right so the benefits of owning a golf push cart let's just go ahead and start there really quick first of all you're going to save money okay rather than renting an actual golf cart having a caddy so on and so forth the money you'll save by owning a push cart it will really add up quickly particularly if you're a frequent golfer the second benefit is basically just staying in the game there is absolutely nothing worse than having to wait for somebody to catch up and you really don't want to be that person this keeps all of your equipment right by your side and these are incredible these golf carts they have a place for everything that you need while you're on the course super super super convenient and handy the third benefit would be appearances not only will you be able to enjoy the game without completely exhausting yourself from lugging everything around you will look good doing it today's golf push carts they are extremely stylish and very very desirable people are just scooping these things up so you grab one and you be the envy of every on the course yes you can all right so are you ready for the top five golf push carts let's go ahead and get started we'll start with the Caddy tech superlight Deluxe golf push cart look at how sharp that is so so sharp all right so this one it features a patented bag holder design and it keeps your gear really really safe and secure from what I've seen basically the Caddy Tech's are all coming out now with this particular bag design which is really cool it fits stand backs perfectly again it keeps you gear nice and safe and secure it also has a simple quick braking system an umbrella holder a mesh net and a beverage holder so as you can see there's a lot of options on this one all right let's go ahead to the next one which is the in tech like right or cart and this one is it really really lightweight and this only weighs six point nine pounds that is so light it's got a one step folding design one step it's folded that's it you're done it's got a contoured handle a steel frame smooth rolling ten inch wheels anti skin tire treads and it also has a tee ball and a score card holder right there on it I'd like that and the next one is the click gear model 3.5 plus golf push cart wait until you see the next slide on these I was just completely impressed these have so many varieties of colors it's incredible I mean there's a color for everyone I mean look at this they and even these are just some of them they come in a combination too like you can have the all-black with the green or the all-black with the blue I mean they come in like like the flip-flop of these to love a lovey lovey all right so these aside from all the pretty colors it has some other great options they slide to close it really is an effortless open and closing for these it really is the handbrake prevents the cart from rolling it has full console with all accessories it's got a durable storage net as well adjustable bag straps which keeps bags of all sizes really really secure and this one has the integrated tee ball and score card holder and pretty colors alright number four we have the Jeff world of golf deluxe steel golf cart look at that baby this one is very very lightweight as well and this one also has really a wide wheel base which makes it extremely sturdy okay this one also folds for really easy storage it is got the it's got an actual waterproof score card holder it's got a contoured bottom so that you can put those larger bags down there and the adjustable bag strap to keep them nice and secure last but certainly not least this is one of my very favorites the Caddy Tech Super Deluxe quad fold golf cart I love this one I just love the red and black I think it's just really really sharp looking there is a reason why caddy tech made my top 5 list twice the reviews really really are amazing for this brand so yeah that's why I mean I people people love the Caddy Tech's ok this one has again a simple quick push braking system it's got an ergonomic adjustable handle it's got a score card holder and an umbrella holder I'm just like the first caddy tech we talked about it's got a nice little storage compartment and this one as well has that patented bag holder design now this one also has a front wheel alignment with maintenance-free wheels yeah you've got a push cart with a front wheel alignment Best Electric Trolleys 2018 I Golf Monthly
hello welcome along to Goodwood Golf Club where today we're giving you a rundown of some of the best electric golf charlies on the market we've already reviewed a lot of these models from actually go on the Gulf monthly website to check out the individual reviews of all of these Charlie's but in this video we've picked out some of our favorites and we've broken them down into different categories depending on what you're looking for from an electric trolley so we've broken them down into technology features compact folding and values or different things that golfers think about when buying a new electric trolley we've puts out some of our favorites going to highlight some of the technology and features give you our verdicts on their performance to help your buying decision should you be looking to buy a new model so without further ado let's start with technology and features [Music] well so if you want to be the envy of your four ball we think any one of these four electric trolleys in front of us are the ones that you need to be using this year they've got a whole host of different technologies depending on what kind of functionality you want when you start over this side here with the motorcade es5 Connect now this uses an app on your phone to transfer GPS distances via bluetooth onto the display we really like that functionality the simplicity of it it takes a while to get connected but once you are connected it's really easy to use you've got the option of using your phone for the GPS maps the whole maps as well so you've got moveable points on there you can get more accurate yardages and plan your strategy but for simplicity of yard use and a moderate price the s5 Connect is the way to go comes in at five four nine pounds also you've got smart phone notifications on there as well next up we've got the power caddy fw7 gps now compared to the motor caddy which uses an app on your phone to give you the distances this trolley has the GPS technology built into the handle itself so you haven't got to go through the pairing exercise it's a bit more simple that way to get set up all the distances are displayed on the screen so three and a half inch screens that's pretty big a lot bigger than the motor caddy gives you the distances on there you could also got hazard information scorecard you can do on the ease and gives you an emoji just throw up your round off your plate based on your handy codes so that's some really impressive offering the fact that it's all built in does come with the extra price tag I think it's six hundred and thirty nine pounds for this so a little bit more investment in price for this trolley but having everything in one place Allah Gophers going to see the benefit of that just be careful because does use satellites in the sky that if you are in a wooded area sometimes the businesses do take a little bit longer to appear on the screen but they're very good offering nonetheless right next up we've got two remote control offerings here we've got one from street girl from one for Big Macs this is the x9 follow this really is the pinnacle of electric trolley innovation I've said that in my review and I stand by it because it uses bluetooth handset so unless you've got remote functionality so you can use the buttons on is left right up and down to control the trolley but what it's also got is a follow mode so using bluetooth if you have this on your person and walk in front of the trolley it will follow you at your walking pace which is a fantastic innovation I think it's obviously got a very futuristic look about it as well it does come with a premium price tag 1500 pounds for this trolley but if you pull this out on your golf club carport you're gonna have a lot of people coming up to you and asking you about this they're gonna be really envious of what you got and it really does have the technology to match the futuristic look so recommend that as well if you're looking for the cutting edge of electric trolleys and then finally we've got the Big Macs navigator Quad gyro this is also a remote controlled trolley it's got four it's actually got five wheels sorry for you can see here two on the back two on the front which gives it stability is also back wheel a fifth wheel on the back which gives stopped it from tipping over this Charlie also will compensate for the angles of slope so if you're walking on a side slope it will naturally want to fight that sleep and keep it tracking in a straight line which is a really impressive innovation from Big Macs it's got a color screen there are moats nice and stuff it's nice and snugly in your hand it's got a built in phone charger as well on there so if you're looking for stability and this one comes in it's slightly less at twelve hundred and ninety nine pounds of things so slightly less than this Juke golf similar functions it doesn't have the follow mode option as well on there but generally speaking remote control trolleys are becoming more of a thing a lot of golfers are buying into that rim of motor Kelly do the s7 remote as well so that's another option if you like that kind of technology it's one to consider but these are the four we've picked out obviously all offering something a little bit different for me I use the s5 Connect that's probably the one I would go just because it comes into that really reasonable price point of five four nine pounds a lot less than the remote control charges and slot less than a Power Kelly Park Kelly also very good as well so that's the technology side of things let's move on to compact folding so another need that golfers have when it comes to electric trolley it's potentially one that folds down a lot smaller than most other electric choice perhaps we've got a sports car with a really small boot and you don't have a lot of room to put it in the car maybe back at home after year-round you've got minimal space to store your electric trolley and both major modes Kelly and Power Kelly offer compact folding options that should suit your needs and I've got one of them here in front of me this is the power Kelly compact c2 folds down a lot smaller than the other power Kelly trolleys in the range there's also a lot lighter it weighs under 10 kilograms as well you can see here if I pick this up how small it folds down doesn't take up much space at all obviously you take the wheels off as well because it means you take up even less space this pile caddy compact c2 comes with the screen that features on the FW 500 models so it's a color digital screen lots of features on there it's also got some accessories on the handles where like tea holders and ball holders and it comes in at five nine nine pounds so some pretty good value there I think considering how much space you're going to save and also the features on the handle the other ones talk about I don't have it in front of me today because what sent it back yesterday after testing is the motor Kelly m1 pro DHC now this trolley falls down 40% smaller than other motor Kelly S Series trolleys it also has a host of the usual most Cuddy features so quick photo frame easy look bass all that kind of thing and it also has the HD stands for downhill control so what that means is that down steep slopes it will continue moving at the same pace it won't run away from you and it also comes with an electronic parking brake so if you all come into your shot and your ball is on a side slope you can leave it employ the parking brake it'll stay on the stuff it won't roll away from you down hills so different offerings from power cutting motor caddy both very good a product for the power caddy I feel like it's slightly easier to fold up and down you can see do it in two pretty quick simple movements whereas the motor caddy m1 pro DHC does have five different stages to assemble the trolleys so what I say a lot of space it's probably more complicated to put together I would say the power cut is slightly more easier and say the sooner out of space so there you go if you're leading the market for compact folding trolley by the motorcade em1 pro DHC or the power kelly compact c2 or the options we would recommend so when it comes to value in electric trolleys there really is two standout performers in that category we've got the motor caddy s1 and the power caddy fw3 i these are both entry-level products so lower price where they don't have as many features as a result but if you're after simplicity so literally just get into the golf course unpacking it putting your bag on and off you go these are the two potentially that you want to go for the motor caddy comes in a much lower price actually three four nine pounds compared to the power KT it's just four nine nine pounds with the most cutter you're getting the quick fold mechanisms it makes it easier to fold up and down you've got the EZ lock base on there as well you've obviously got a lithium battery with the power caddy you've got a new digital screen you've got very quiet motors probably lot quieter than the motor caddy you've got obviously a soft touch handle on both of these organic handles so left the right no problem using either of these trolleys both of these are like I said entry-level products so if you're after simplicity these are the two to go for the motor Kelly would appear to edge it because you're getting a similar amount of features for a lot less money with a power cut it is a very good option as well so definitely give them both a try if you're in the market for a very simple electric trolley so if in the market for new electrically hopefully this video has helped out your buying decision as always make sure you go visit the Gulf monthly website we've got a host of other buyers guide videos on there as well as individual reviews as well and comparison videos of trolleys and also golf clubs as well so make sure you check that out but for now from good word it's goodbye [Music]
